The Kitchen Manager will oversee day-to-day kitchen operations with a heavy focus on organization, production management, team leadership, and operational efficiency. This role is ideal for a strong kitchen operator who excels in fast-paced environments and understands how to lead teams while maintaining consistency and structure.
While culinary experience is highly valued, the client is equally focused on finding a strong manager capable of driving accountability and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily kitchen operations and production flow
- Lead kitchen teams and maintain strong operational organization
- Oversee ordering, inventory, prep systems, and production schedules
- Ensure food quality, cleanliness, and consistency standards are maintained
- Support labor management and scheduling needs
- Train, coach, and develop kitchen employees
- Maintain operational efficiency during high-volume service periods
- Assist leadership with process improvements and operational execution
Qualifications
- 3+ years of kitchen leadership or management experience
- Strong organizational and production management skills
- Experience in high-volume kitchen environments
- Ability to lead teams and maintain accountability
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with inventory, ordering, and labor management preferred
- Culinary background helpful but not required
- Kosher experience not required
